How it feels to DUNK!

I'm 170cm tall and not at all athletic. But yes, I'm going to tell you how it feels to have dunked a basketball.

The gay former NBA player John Amaechi guested on John Stewart's The Daily Show. Funny thing is that even with ESPN marketing his book where he came out, it's the ridiculous unintentional comedy of the hate-speech uttered by former NBA All Star Tim Hardaway on a Miami radio show that's getting him all the attention. I have made some comment about it in a previous post.

Here's a video of the Daily Show episode:

I actually know how it feels to dunk.

One time I visited Museo Pambata which had a full-sized rim and backboard only that it was only a few feet high off the floor. I threw an alley-oop to myself! Easily one of the greatest days of my life.

For the life of me I thought I made a post of that day, but I realize now that I didn't. I was all alone on the "court," picked up a ball, then threw it from the free-throw line against the backboard.

I made two strides, then jumped...

I caught the ball with both hands and crammed it as hard as I could!

I hung on the rim a bit and as I was letting go in a moment that seemed to me frozen and all at once moving too fast. I got it:

I dunked the motherf*cking ball, and that's the game!
